Principal Phuong Ninh

Phuong is a Principal at Lateral Investment Management. Phuong supports all aspects of the investment activities of the fund.

Prior to joining Lateral, he was a Vice President at K1 Investment Management, a private equity firm with over $13 billion in assets under management. During his eight-year tenure at K1, Phuong closed over 30 investments and served on the boards of category leading technology companies including Axcient, Comply, Onit, and Reveal.

Phuong earned a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Technology & Management from Georgia Tech, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. Outside of work, Phuong is a longtime sneakerhead and former competitive powerlifter. He enjoys international travel, discovering new restaurants, and staying active in the gym.
