Investment Professional Chris Scian

Christopher Scian supports Lateral’s deal origination activities for new platform investments and add-on acquisitions for existing portfolio companies. Prior to joining Lateral, Chris worked at VU Venture Partners, a global venture capital fund focused on consumer, enterprise, and financial technology companies. Chris has also held operating roles at several venture-backed start-ups including, SourceScrub, where he leveraged data and analytics to support private equity firms in identifying high-growth opportunities.

Chris earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economic History from the University of Pennsylvania. As an avid fan of sports, Chris supports Juventus and the Los Angeles Lakers. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, golfing, and playing poker.
