Kate Formico supports Lateral’s deal origination activities for new platform investments and add-on acquisitions for existing portfolio companies. Before joining Lateral, Kate managed institutional investor relations within JP Morgan’s Venture and Growth Capital Markets team. Prior to that, Kate worked on the Fund Administration sales team at Carta.

Kate holds a Bachelor of Science in Science, Technology, and Society from Stanford University, where she was a 2X NCAA National Champion with the Women’s Volleyball team. Outside of the office, Kate enjoys hiking, trying out new recipes, and exploring San Francisco.
